Refund Policy
At Secure SSL Studio, we aim to provide reliable SSL certificate solutions and transparent customer service.
Because SSL certificates are digital security products issued through validation and third-party Certificate Authorities (CAs), refunds are subject to the conditions below.
By placing an order on https://securesslstudio.com, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund only if:
- your SSL certificate has not yet been issued, and/or
- your order is canceled before successful validation and issuance, and/or
- the issuing Certificate Authority rejects the application and no certificate is issued.
Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be granted in the following cases:
- the SSL certificate has already been issued,
- domain validation / organization validation / EV validation has been completed and processed,
- incorrect information was submitted by the customer,
- the customer fails to complete validation in time,
- the customer purchased the wrong product after issuance or activation,
- installation issues arise due to server, hosting, or configuration problems not caused by us,
- the customer changes their mind after issuance,
- the certificate has been used, deployed, or reissued,
- the CA’s issuance and validation process has already been substantially completed.
3. Duplicate or Failed Orders
If you were charged multiple times for the same order or there is a verified payment processing issue, please contact us immediately.
Where confirmed, duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded appropriately.
4. CA Rejection / Validation Failure
If the Certificate Authority rejects your SSL application and the certificate is not issued, you may be eligible for:
- a refund, or
- an alternative SSL product (where applicable), at our discretion.
This does not apply where rejection occurs due to:
- false or misleading customer information,
- missing customer cooperation,
- failure to provide requested documents,
- failure to prove domain or organization ownership.
5. Installation Assistance
Where support or installation guidance is offered, such support is provided in good faith.
However, SSL certificate purchase refunds will not be automatically approved solely because:
- installation was not completed,
- the customer’s server is incompatible,
- the hosting environment is misconfigured,
- third-party hosting restrictions prevent deployment.
6. Refund Request Timeframe
To request a refund, you must contact us within 7 days of purchase and before certificate issuance, unless otherwise stated for a specific product.
Once a certificate has been issued, refund eligibility may be limited or unavailable.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us with:
- your full name,
- order number,
- domain name,
- purchase date,
- reason for refund request.

8. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are generally processed within 7 to 14 business days, depending on:
- payment gateway processing time,
- bank/card issuer timelines,
- original payment method.
Refunds will usually be returned to the original payment method used during checkout.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
Fraudulent or abusive chargeback claims may result in:
- account/order restrictions,
- denial of future service,
- supporting evidence being submitted to the payment processor.
